Monday Stuff

Well, Good Monday Morning to you my fine readers!  I hope you are having an excellent start to the week!

I find if you pretend you are chipper and happy on a Monday, the rest of the week goes a little better.  I’m a little slow-moving today and don’t really want to do any of the work I know I have to do, so pretending to have it all together is what I’ve got today.  Sometimes that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

I hope you all had a great Father’s Day and were able to celebrate the men in your life.  Dads, Grandpas, Uncles, friends, cousins, teachers, coaches…. whoever stepped up as a father-figure in your life.  I actually spent the weekend at my parent’s house dog-sitting and then having a cookout to celebrate Father’s Day.  It was a good day and a delicious meal!

These next few weeks are going to be a little wonky (totally a word) on the blog because Adam and I will be traveling.  Next weekend we’re going on our first camping trip of the summer (yay) and then the weekend after that we’ll be in Indiana for the 4th.  I’m excited to get a little R & R and hang out with family.  I’m planning on having a few new posts these coming weeks, but perhaps not as many new recipes.  I have lots of things planned for you guys, so get excited,  but I think it’s also important to enjoy summer.  Which is what I plan to do in these coming weeks.
